This year CAVA Members can apply to be part of the CAVA booth at the 2024 Other Art Fair!
Presented by Saatchi Art, the Other Art Fair started in 2011 in London, and has since expanded to include local editions in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, and Sydney. The Other Art Fair provides an art marketplace for independent artists to sell directly to local communities. Its organizers’ mission is to break down traditional art world barriers and make art affordable and accessible to all.

Our CAVA booth at Artifact Events on the Ravenswood Corridor will have space for a limited number of rotating CAVA artists. Participation and cost is dependent on the available space, as well as the different Open Hours over the four Fair days. There are spaces for THREE artists per date (12 spaces total). Artists may apply for up to two spots, with participating artists rotating to  the booth during their time slot(s).

CAVA at the Other Art Fair Opportunity Details:

  • Booth space includes walls where art will be hung, PLUS additional room in the booth where artist-supplied flip racks can display other flat art (prints, unframed work). Each artist will have TWO 4 foot wide by 8 foot high wall spaces to hang art per time slot, and floor space for one flip rack per artist.
     

  • The booth is made of wooden exhibition walling, painted white. Artists supply their own installation tools (hammer, level), artist statement, business cards, and their own flip rack to display additional works for sale.
     

  • CAVA will provide a table and 4 chairs for the booth, plus hanging hardware (hooks), and a case of bottled water for participants.
     

  • All art sales made onsite at the fair are processed through the Other Art Fair central payment system. TOAF takes an 18% commission on all art sales, which covers processing fees and complimentary wrapping of the art for buyers. TOAF also extends this 18% commission rate to all post-Fair orders taken within a month of the Fair closing, if the customer found you at one of our Fairs.
     

  • This is a first-come, first-served limited opportunity for CAVA artists. Spaces are not confirmed until payment is received. A PayPal invoice will be sent to artists who sign up, and reserved dates/times will be confirmed once payment is received.

This is a great opportunity for CAVA artists to be part of this well-attended alternative Art Fair, where last year over 90% of the exhibiting artists sold work!
