CAVA is pleased to announce the theme and call for entries for our juried summer show, A Moment of Zen, to be held at the North Shore Art League in the Winnetka Community House.This past year has been stressful in so many ways. The theme of our next exhibition explores how we've been able to manage during this difficult time, and focus on the present moment and positive things. Share through your art what helped you to relax, and bring balance back into everyday life.
Media Accepted: Drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, collage, photography, fiber art, and 3D objects sculpture, and ceramics, that can be wall hung.
ELIGIBILITY: This exhibit is open to CURRENT CAVA artist members 50 and over.

CAVA members may submit up to two pieces. Entry fee is $30,
payable using the Pay Pal button here.
You do not need to have a Pay Pal account to use this feature.

Non-members must first join CAVA on our JOIN page and pay the annual membership fee of $50.
ARTWORK SALES AND COMMISSIONS:
The North Shore Art League requires a 20% commission. NSAL will handle sales, also collecting the applicable sales tax. They will remit the price, less 20%, to the artist at the end of the show.
Sold pieces will be noted, and must remain for the length of the exhibit.
STATEMENT
Artists must submit a short statement for each work of up to 200 characters describing how the piece fits the theme of A Moment of Zen. The statements will be displayed with the work.
MEDIA REQUIREMENTS:

All work must meet professional presentation standards.

Work must be framed or gallery wrapped and wired, no alligator hangers.

2-D must not exceed 36 inches framed each way. For artwork over 20 inches x 24 inches, please use plexiglass when framing so that the hanging system can safely accommodate the weight.

3-D must be wired and ready for wall mounting.

Work may not have been shown in any previous CAVA art shows.

Digital images should be 1500 pixels wide in the longer dimension, in jpg format.

Artists are responsible for on-time delivery and pick up.
All work left beyond the pick up date is subject to a $10 daily storage fee.
